Day 1: Arrival in Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to Arusha for an overnight

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly welcomed by your driver and guide before transferring to your lodge in Arusha. The scenic drive through farmland and small towns provides a gentle introduction to northern Tanzania. Once at the lodge, you can relax, settle in, and enjoy a delicious dinner while preparing for the adventure ahead. Overnight accommodation is in Arusha.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, baobab trees, and abundant wildlife. Spend the day on game drives, exploring the park’s diverse landscapes and spotting lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and a variety of birds. Lunch can be enjoyed as a picnic inside the park, surrounded by wildlife. In the late afternoon, check in to a lodge or tented camp near Tarangire for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park

Today, travel to the legendary Serengeti National Park, a journey of approximately 5–6 hours with stops for wildlife viewing along the way. Upon entering the park, enjoy an afternoon game drive, marveling at the vast plains teeming with zebras, wildebeest, and predators. After an exciting day of wildlife encounters, check in to your lodge or tented camp in the Serengeti for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti

Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti’s expansive plains. Begin with an early morning game drive, when lions, cheetahs, and other predators are most active. Return to the lodge or camp for brunch, then head out for an afternoon game drive in a different part of the park, offering new wildlife sightings and scenic views. Evening relaxation at the lodge allows time to reflect on the day’s experiences. Overnight stay is in the Serengeti.

Day 5 : Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day safari. The crater’s unique ecosystem supports a dense concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, rhinos, hippos, and flamingos. Enjoy a picnic lunch within this breathtaking volcanic caldera, surrounded by wildlife. In the late afternoon, ascend to the crater rim and check in to a lodge with stunning crater views for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6 : Departure from Kilimanjaro

Following breakfast, begin the journey back to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your departure flight. The transfer takes approximately 4–5 hours, with optional stops for refreshments or photos along the way. Say farewell to your guide and the stunning landscapes of northern Tanzania as you conclude your unforgettable 6-day safari adventure.
